The new question still focuses on diversity, but instead of asking you to talk about "a time when you had to relate to someone whose life experience was very different from your own," this prompt focuses squarely on you and your identity. Let's take a look!

• At the University of Colorado Boulder, no two Buffs are alike. We value difference and support equity and inclusion of all students and their many intersecting identities. Pick one of your unique identities and describe its significance. (250-650 words)

This new prompt is similar to a lot of other prompts that deal with "background," "community," or "identity," which means you have a much better chance of being able to reuse an essay that you've written for another school. When you've got a lot of essays to write, that's a win!
